Pages are turning on God’s prophetic calendar, approaching the glorious day when Messiah will step once again into the world of time and space.

In Section One you’ll discover the prophetic beginnings of the nation of Israel and some of the major conflicts over the span of her existence. You’ll receive a historical overview of the birth of modern Israel in 1948 and other key events such as the dramatic acts of prayer behind the fall of the Berlin Wall. The third lesson highlights a prophetic encounter in which I was visited by an angel named, “Israel Awakening.”

It is vital to engage in prophetic intercession concerning the promises of God for Israel and the Middle East. In Section Two, you’ll learn seven reasons to pray for Israel and the Middle East, and the importance of praying the scriptures for the fulfillment of the Jewish people’s return to their appointed homeland. You will also be introduced to the prophetic invitation to take up the “Mordecai anointing” found in the Book of Esther.

In this lesson you’ll see the importance of “aliyah” and what it means and looks like today considering the prophesies of Hosea, Jeremiah, and Isaiah. After the modern nation of Israel was formed, she derived strength as the Jewish people scattered across the world started returning to their land of promise. At the close, you’ll take a prayerful look at the prophetic significance of Zechariah 12.

In a powerful prophetic encounter, James was instructed to read the Book of Esther through the lens of Mordecai and his impact on Esther. Quietly, behind the scenes, Mordecai guided Esther’s life. His influence and counsel led to Esther becoming Queen and eventually saved the entire Jewish race from annihilation. In a unique blend of prayer with prophetic insight, you will be invited to take on the Mordecai anointing for the days in which you live.

In Section Three, you’ll continue to build on what you have learned by receiving a wider lens of God’s prophetic purposes for all of the descendants of Abraham. God has promised a special blessing for each of the tribes—from Hagar, Sarah and Keturah. You’ll view Psalm 83 and Isaiah 19 as templates for the prophetic promise for the future of the Middle East.

Thirteen years after the birth of Ishmael, God appeared to 99-year-old Abram and extended His original prophetic word of promise. Faith was ultimately fulfilled as Abraham and Sarah brought forth their son, Isaac, the seed through whom God would fulfill his covenantal blessings. God’s covenant with Abraham, passed down through Isaac, to Jacob, and on to the 12 tribes of Israel is one of the oldest legal contracts in history. It is clearly written out in Scripture and does not have an expiration date. God’s covenant is eternal and unconditional. It is entirely predicated on God’s faithfulness, mercy, and love. In this lesson, you will look into God’s Covenant Plan for Israel—the people of promise and the land of promise— and examine what it means for today as you watch and pray with God for the heirs of faith.

God’s prophetic purposes for the Middle East expand after Sarah dies and Abraham takes Keturah as his wife. In this lesson you’ll investigate the prophetic promises given to Keturah’s descendants. This pivotal lesson concludes with a short study of Psalm 83 and the promise of a highway built between Egypt, Syria and Israel as stated in Isaiah 19.

Section Four combines rich story telling with historical sketches to show the prophetic importance of Jerusalem, God’s Word as the Final Road Map, and the culmination of all things in the Second Coming of Jesus. Shalom will ultimately come to the volatile Middle East when the Man of peace—Jesus Christ—takes His place of authority and our prayers for His Kingdom to come on earth are finally answered.
